Single Carrot Theatre persistently works as a leader in the development of the Station North Arts & Entertainment District. We actively participate in making Baltimore a cultural landmark and a destination for national and international visitors.

Support the Growth of Artists
With every production, Single Carrot Theatre works to expand artists’ creativity and stretch them beyond their limits. Single Carrot collaborates with artists with unique skills and mediums to mutually expand artistic horizons. We also hold professional development workshops and discussions to share experiences and skills among a broad network of artists.
Expose Baltimore Youth to the Arts
Single Carrot Theatre offers many education programs that work with Baltimore area youth to increase self-confidence and communication skills and to cultivate a love for the arts at an early age. Single Carrot Theatre holds a conservatory for high school students every summer as well as an after-school program for middle and high school students during the school year. Additionally, Single Carrot Theatre lectures and teaches in many schools from elementary to college level. Scholarships are available for our education programs so that all children have equal opportunity to experience the arts.
Give back to the Community
We believe that theatre is a tool for social change. Single Carrot Theatre is committed to using art to address social issues and inspire change. We have partnered with many organizations in the area including Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc., the Violence Prevention Program at Maryland Shock Trauma, Art On Purpose, My Sister’s Place, House of Ruth, and the Enoch Pratt Free Library.
