A letter from the Artistic Director & Managing Director

Dear Single Carrot Theatre Family and Friends,

In the last few days there have been many changes for Single Carrot Theatre. Load of Fun, the building which has housed us for the last five years, has been temporarily closed while plans are made for renovations. The timeline for those renovations does not match that of our season, and so we will be moving our operations. First and foremost, we would like to assure you that Single Carrot Theatre is alive and well and that we will carry on our 6th season with as little interruption as possible.

We are still opening our season with Drunk Enough to Say I Love You by Caryl Churchill, however we have moved opening night to Friday, October 5th, 2012. We have identified a new location for the show, and will announce the venue as soon as possible. We are also in conversations with local organizations about other venues where we can present the remainder of our season.

We have experienced a tremendous amount of support from the community, and for that we are extremely grateful.  There has been a concerted effort to keep Single Carrot Theatre’s operations at Load of Fun, but due to circumstances beyond the control of everyone involved this is not possible.

Our box office staff will reach out to all patrons who have purchased tickets for the season. If you have any questions, please email us at info@singlecarrot.com or call us at 443-844-9253.

These events came about rather suddenly, and we thank you for your patience as we solidify our way forward. This is an unprecedented but exciting time, and with your ongoing support we will continue to create vibrant theatrical experiences.
