Education and theatrical immersion are significant parts of Single Carrot Theatre’s vision. Part of that vision includes our Fellowship Program, which is a one year program dedicated to learning about what it means to be a part of an ensemble theatre- onstage, backstage, in the office, community, and classroom.
Each Season’s Fellowship Class is chosen from a pool of distinguished applicants. Once accepted into the program, the fellows are fully immersed in SCT artistically and administratively.
Sarah Krempasky recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mercyhurst University with Bachelor of Arts in Music degree, concentrating in Voice, and a minor in Theatre. She performed in over fifteen productions throughout her undergraduate career, including such roles as Kate in Dancing at Lughnasa, Lucy in Steven Dietz’s adaptation of Dracula, and Rosita in Doña Rosita the Spinster. Additionally, she has directed a production of David Ives’s Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread for a student run one-act festival. Her theatrical education also included a study abroad trip in the Spring of 2017 where she studied theatrical traditions in both London and Paris and visited such landmarks as Shakespeare’s Globe and the Moulin Rouge.
