KISS ME, MR. MUSK
a climate change parable
Devised by the Ensemble
Text by Genevieve de Mahy, T Canady, B Kleymeyer
Music and Lyrics by Daniel Baird
Directed by B Kleymeyer
August 19 – Sep 11, 2022
The Chesapeake Bay expands and sea levels rise into Baltimore City. In this post-human world only our trash remains. What do these inanimate objects do without humans? Can they build a society of their own? A cheeky exploration of climate change action, denial, and what we leave behind.

SINGLE CARROT THEATRE AND BLUE WATER BALTIMORE HOST SEED BOMB WORKSHOP!
Single Carrot Theatre (SCT) partners with Blue Water Baltimore to offer a free seed bomb making workshop at Peabody Heights Brewery on July 27 from 5pm to 730pm. The seed bombs made will be distributed to audience members during the production Kiss Me, Mr. Musk! Curious about what a seed bomb is? Seed bombs are made of clay, soil, and wildflower seeds. These little balls of clay use a planting technique that is hundreds of years old. The clay protects the seeds from hungry insects and birds, while the soil provides organic matter and nutrients. When conditions are right (water, temperature, sunlight), the seed bombs will break down and the seeds will germinate into flowering plants that will provide habitat and food for our important pollinator friends.
SINGLE CARROT THEATRE WANTS YOUR TRASH!
Want to see your trash come to life?! Check out the list below and drop off on July 27th at Peabody Heights Brewery from 5pm to 7pm! Join us for a beer or build a seed bomb with Blue Water Baltimore while you’re there 🙂
