This playreading meets bookclub invites you to grab a drink, take on a role in the play, and join actors around the table to read a script dealing with identity in America. Then we’ll talk about the themes raised by the play and their relevance to you and Baltimore in a moderated discussion! The featured plays all focus in some way on identity in America, addressing gender, sexuality, race and representation. It is SCT’s hope to engender and encourage discussion of these complex and nuanced issues.

If you want to read, show up early to get a part. Those who don’t want to read are welcome to listen!

This is an ongoing FREE SERIES.

(You purchase your own drinks and can throw in $5 for Joe’s Squared pizza if you want food!)
