Single Carrot Theatre Announces Season 15 Open Call Auditions!

Single Carrot is casting for Season 15! ***Please read character descriptions below to ensure that you meet the type requirements for available roles.***

Stipend $1000. Vaccination against COVID-19 Required for all roles.

  2. Headshot or recent photo with your head and face clearly visible
  3. Resume or list of recent theatrical experience
  4. Submit a video of one monologue under (3 minutes) OR Two contrasting monologues (under 4 minutes total for both monologues). 

Single Carrot Theatre strives to bring greater diversity to the stage. Actors of color, and actors with other diverse backgrounds and identifications are strongly encouraged to audition. For the upcoming productions, SCT is seeking Black actors under 30 of all genders, and one white female under 30 for BLKS; and female, non-binary & transfemme actors of all ages (18+) for Dance Nation. Dance Nation

Who unleashed the pre-teen divas of the thirsty competitive dance world?! Get ready to get down with this multi-generational cast as they boldly attempt to survive adolescence, emerging sexuality, and the violent threat of pre-teen peers all while perfecting their pliés.

AMINA (F): Star dancer. Some dance skill required. Any age & ethnicity.

ZUZU (F): Dance team member.  Some dance skills are a plus. Any age & ethnicity.

CONNIE (F): Dance team member. Some dance skills are a plus. Southeast Asian.

MAEVE (F): The oldest and least talented dancer on the team. Any age & ethnicity.
