Genevieve is the Artistic Director and a founding member of Single Carrot Theatre. As an interdisciplinary theatre artist—primarily in the realms of directing, performance and writing—she is interested in theater that sets off revolutions both big and small and finds new ways to engage audiences. Genevieve has been awarded a “VIP Under 40” by The Daily Record and was awarded Best Actress in the Baltimore City Paper’s Best of Baltimore awards. She has worked with artists in Hungary, Bulgaria, Russia and Guinea. Working previously in international development primarily in Egypt, India and Indonesia, she has particular interest in cross-cultural exchange and collaboration and in examining the role culture and values play in interpersonal connections. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Theatre, Creative Writing, and French.
